NEFFA Celebrated 17th Cargo Day

Nepal Freight Forwarders Association (NEFFA) celebrated the 17th Cargo Day program on 29th July 2011 at Kathmandu Nepal with a main theme: "Facilitating Export Import by Nepalese Freight Forwarders". 

Rt. Honorable Vice President of Nepal  Mr. Pramanda Jha inaugurated the function. 

NEFFA's President Rameswor K.C. highlighted the current problems faced by Freight Forwarders.

Mr. Sushil JB Rana, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Supplies, Dr. Ganesh Raj Joshi, Secretary , Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr. Gopal Pd. Kafle, Dy. Governer , nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Suraj Vaidhya, President of Federation of Nepalese Chamber  of Commerce and  Industry  (FNCCI) ,  Mr. Suresh Basnet, President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce expressed their views relating to  Exports business. 

On the occasion, Vice-president Jha awarded cargo entrepreneur Mahendra Man Shrestha with NEFFA Annual Award 2010.

Similarly, Qatar Airways, Thai Airways International and Etihad Airways have been awarded first , second and third highest tonnage cargo carriers award  respectively for the year 2010 amongst online carriers. Amongst offline carriers, Emirates Sky Cargo has been awarded with NEFFA Annual Award.
